Italian is taught online (all courses) and face-to-face (first-year and second-year level courses) at the Griffith Queensland College of Art South Bank campus.
The Italian program offers language courses from beginner to advanced levels as well as content-based courses (mostly delivered in Italian) exploring literature, society, cinema, and popular culture. At third-year level, the program offers also unique in-country work placements and university exchange opportunities.
The program has a long-standing tradition of academic achievement at Griffith and boasts innovative student-centred teaching, active community engagement partnerships and wide-ranging research interests which embrace both language and cultural issues.
Depending on the program you are enrolled in you can study Italian courses as electives or complete a minor or a major. If you are unsure where to start your Italian studies from, please contact the Italian Studies Coordinator, Sara Visocnik: s.visocnik@griffith.edu.au.
